Continuity.- This will constitute the second stage of growth for the school and will cover the National Curriculum Key Stage 2, Years 3 to 6 (ages 7 to 11). Classes in each year group will be carefully balanced according to ability and gender.
Motivation.- Teachers will provide stimulating activities to build up pupil confidence and to encourage and utilize the children's natural curiosity. In this way, pupils will obtain high cognitive skills while enjoying themselves during their learning process. Whenever possible and appropriate, pupils will be taken on out-of-school excursions to supplement classroom activities.
Research.- In class, pupils will be involved in a variety of cross-curricular topic-based research, to promote a variety of skills and offer scope for the development of different concepts. Active research methods will be emphasized to make learning purposeful easy and to encourage independent thinking while the main requirements of the English National Curriculum are covered.
The class teacher will be responsible for most of the subject teaching to conform with the National Junior Curriculum, studies in Humanities, Music, P.E., Information and Communication Technology, Art, and Craft Technology, but some specialists will also be involved. The Spanish teaching will be taught as stipulated by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
